About Christie Michelsen

Anne Christina (Christie) Michelsen founded Green Ink Copywriting in 2008 to help companies better promote their environmentally responsible products and services. Since then, she has helped dozens of companies win new customers, meet their marketing deadlines, and get published in the press.

Christie’s style is influenced by her real-world background in sales and customer service. Her experience “in the trenches” of small business (as co-owner of a retail music store; assisting her husband with his renewable energy company; and working with dozens of agency and private clients) allows her to provide appropriate solutions to her clients’ needs and challenges.

Christie received her copywriting training through the prestigious American Artists and Writers, Inc., and has studied marketing under copywriter Daniel Levis, Marketing to Millionaires founder Kelly O’Neil, and master copywriter and marketer Dan Kennedy.

Christie has written regularly for top agencies (including Fortune 500 work) and as a freelance writer for trade and consumer magazines. She has been a regular contributor to industry-specific publications such as Turf Magazine, Green Building and Design, and Green Child Magazine.
